Stay Tuned........

The blogging world is about to get very interesting as I prepare for the trip that everyone has been waiting for.  I fly out for the far reaches of the North in the morning to meet up with The Downeast Duck Hunter in the great state of Maine!  I can almost hear the ducks quivering where they sit knowing that the Brave Eagle will be bringing his trigger finger north of the Mason Dixon line.  My bags are packed, tickets and licences are ready, and the plans have been made.  Now all we have to do is go and make those hunting memories that last a lifetime and hopefully give you some blog worthy moments to read about!

Duckman, I'll see you tomorrow!

Hope those folks in Maine take care of my southern boy. Have fun and show them what southern hospitality looks like. We'll miss you.

The Trey Luckie schedule...

Thursday night- pick up at airport, and arrive home to rest in the "Trey Luckie" room overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Friday morning- early rise, high winds anticipated so we will pursue a black duck in one of the areas finest tidal habitats. Once winds subside, attempt seeking out sea ducks. Return for a large family get together full of fine local dining and pumpkin carving.

Saturday- With lighter winds, the day will be dedicated to the mighty eider and scoter. Coffee will be brewed in the Duckforce all day. Maine lobster buffet in the evening, how many can Trey Luckie eat.

Sunday- shed a tear as Trey Luckie departs.

Sunday night- find out that Trey Luckie is coming back in three weeks.
